JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Kommunrehab is the department in the Social Services Administration responsible for rehabilitation and preventive work in care.

As a physiotherapist in Kommunrehab, you will work with the rehabilitation of patients, directly and through guidance to relatives and care staff, as well as through a daily rehabilitation approach. We play an important and exciting part in the rehabilitation process upon discharge from the hospital, where we work together with the patient to solve problems for increased independence. We set goals in the patient's everyday environment through activity and participation. Our main target group is elderly individuals living independently.

You who are applying are interested in working with municipal rehabilitation in both regular housing and special housing. We work in teams in close collaboration with occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, assistive technology technicians, and other care staff.

Our physiotherapist group consists of 21 employees with good competence in the field. We are a great team that supports each other, shares knowledge, and there is always someone to bounce your questions off.

We work daytime Monday to Friday with good opportunities to influence working hours through flexible working agreements. We are based in new and modern premises at Mejselgatan 4 in Växjö. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist and it is advantageous if you have experience working as a physiotherapist. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills, a good pedagogical approach, and flexibility. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as basic computer skills. A driver's license is required for employment.
